This summer, like most, has been a busy one for us. Construction work typically ramps up in the summer time and it is hard for us to justify taking time away from work while we are so busy. My getaway this morning turned out to be getting out of the house and into the attic. These spaces can be blistering in the summer heat and can reach more than 130 degrees in poorly vented attics. With temperatures in the 90’s every day I decided to get in there and do the wiring connections early in the morning when it is the coolest temperature. Let’s just say that there was still incentive for me to get the work done quickly. If you have questions about proper attic ventilation please let us know.
